Membership Benefits

Why Become a Member?

Becoming a member in the Coalition is more than just signing up for emails. The Coalition IS its members. By joining, you add your voice and your support to the larger movement to end domestic violence in King County. Your membership dues go toward the work that we do, that cannot be done by individual agencies alone. Our small staff and office are just the hub that facilitates the networking, communication, training, facilitation, advocacy, policy work, and innovative projects that are only a part of what the Coalition is about.

Member vs. Supporter

Joining as a Member of the Coalition means that you would like to actively participate in the work we do and would like to receive all of the benefits available to either individual or organizational members. If you are not able to fully participate, but would still like to lend your support, you are welcome to become a Supporter of the coalition. As you can see from the chart below, the benefits available to supporters are not as extensive. Although we believe that active participation is its own reward, we want to provide as beneficial an experience as possible by offering a wide array of benefits to active members.

What’s In it for Me?

There are many benefits to becoming either a member or a supporter of the Coalition. The chart below outlines the benefits available to Members, Supporters, and Non-members.
